Is ice cream safe to eat if it’s refrozen?

In OP case, that would be never so milkshakes all day.

OP. You don’t like ICE CREAM?? elaborate? Lactose intolerance? Grew up in Arctic?

I’ve just never liked ice cream. As a kid, I’d be disappointed if someone put a scoop of ice cream on a slice of cake or pie before serving it to me. Once or twice a year I’ll eat frozen custard because it’s so rich and creamy, but I really don’t ever want ice cream.

For anyone who’s interested, either the ice cream never melted all the way or the fact that it was unopened and kept cold made a difference because my teenager said there weren’t ice crystals.
