What did you think of the storm overnight?

Rain, downpours even, terrific lightning show, good to sleep through, didn't lose power, no limbs down.

Another please tonight, mother nature!

Haha +1. Great lightening and thunder, enough rain to make a pleasing sound on the roof, no big wind issues so no tree limb or electrical problems. It was pretty crazy at 3 am and I went into the bathroom to look up through the skylight for a while. Had to go back to bed before I fell asleep in there.

In Arlington. Not enough rain by a long shot. But the mosquitoes have been re-invigorated. So, lots of bites this AM.

There was literally 3 lightning flashes per second for an hour

Terrifying! I do like storms so it was cool, but I was waiting for a tree to fall on me.

We get our trees inspected, and we have maintenance work scheduled for next week, so it would make sense I would die by tree while waiting for the scheduled service.

All that heat energy had to go somewhere

I was driving through that on 95. Usually it never rains that hard for more than 5-10 minutes, this went on for like 25.

That was an intense storm! Loved the sound of it but I was too tired to actually get out of bed to watch.

My dog definitely wasn't a fan.

Seemed like it went on forever maybe just because I really wanted to be asleep. Several big branches down in my Rockville neighborhood. Thanks to the city crews who were out early this morning clearing! City of Rockville is great...

Wild storms tonight in Baltimore.

Usually I’m the only light sleeper but all four of us woke up. It was crazy in Rockville.
