Glad. We needed the rain badly.

I give it an A++
Rain, downpours even, terrific lightning show, good to sleep through, didn't lose power, no limbs down.

Another please tonight, mother nature!

Are we in a drought? Ironically all my neighbors were watering yesterday.

In Bethesda the middle of the night storm wasn't bad at all. However when I walked the dog at 10-11 ish pm, the lightning towards downtown Bethesda was intense! It illuminated the clouds from behind and kept firing on all cylinders the entire time we were out. The weird thing is that there was very little thunder. It made for a creepy, strobe-lighted walk...

This. My dog hated the thunder, but otherwise I thought it was great and much needed.

I saw this while driving southbound in Rockville at that time. Then overnight was crazy.

At around 230 pm the storm became crazy. I’m glad for the rain but I have never seen so much lightning in my life . I was afraid it was going to become a derecho like storm as there was no warning of this happening

Loud, wish it happened closer to 6-7pm so I could have appreciated it.

I’m at work and I’m tired..Thunder at 1020 had the dog and my kid all worked up. Then again at 0320 the dog was shaking and panting for over an hour.
I know we needed the rain though.
