This is the only answer. Pizza. Cheese pizza to be precise.

I have been to party with pizza, giant sub and a pasta dish from one Italian restaurant. It covered all the bases for kids and adults

taco bar? You'd just need a cooler for any sour cream/greek yogurt and cheese. But if you have a cooler for drinks you can toss them in there too.

Just do pizza! Tell your kid it’s the only option that makes sense.

Popeyes or Roy Rogers or whatever fried chicken you like most. Everyone loves fried chicken, biscuits, and sides. Fried chicken tastes almost as good cold as it does hot. If the kids are really little maybe stick with the boneless options, also less cleanup. Be sure to bring some wet wipes.

+1 this sort of thing is pretty normal in my area for a larger party. Pizza, 6 foot sub and/or pasta dish, wings, and salad.

I wouldn’t eat fried chicken, too unhealthy.

but you'd eat pizza and chips? also, the party food isn't tailored to you, it's tailored to kids . . . who will likely expect pizza

we did a party with Chick Fil A nuggets once but not sure I'd do that in the heat.

Let me add: I wouldn’t let my kids eat fried chicken either. Yes pizza is fine.
