Am I alone in not being a fan of Glowscreen?

I'm fair and I look like the tin man when I wear it.

I like how it feels on my skin and it wears well under powder foundation -- which is how I use it. But there's no way I could wear it by itself.

Ha, I'm assuming whether it gives one a healthy dewy look versus a tin man look is probably just a function of how dry one's skin is.

I thought it was just me! GS makes me look like I have an oil slick on my face even when I just use a bit. Plus it somehow melts down my face and I get a strange taste in my mouth from the seepage. No thanks GS.

It’s hands down the best beauty product I’ve used. I always get compliments. My skin is fairly dry.

It's useless for me. Doesn't cancel out my red enough, and I know how to highlight and contour the areas I want highlighted and contoured.

I don’t like it at all.

It feels heavy, like a thick layer just sitting on top of my skin and my skin can’t breathe. And I don’t see anything glow-y about it.

I’m worn you, too. I’ve seen the greasy look on my sister who wears it. Couldn’t figure out what was going on until I tried it based on her recommendation.

OP, I think it’s you. I love Glowscreen.

Bought a bottle and have been using it for a couple of weeks. I feel like I just look like a greasy mess! Essentially it looks like I’ve coated my whole face in highlighter. Am I the only one?

I've literally never loved a face/makeup/skincare product more than Glowscreen. It has a really elegant feel, goes on smoothly, beautifully. So in love.

Have you ever tried Japanese or Korean SPF products? Because Glowscreen has like the least elegant feel compared to any of them, it might as well be paste. Even against the 6 dollar stuff you would buy in a 7/11, Glowscreen comes up way behind.

Yes, that all sounds great please tell us a brand and store!

I use glowscreen. It is a bit shiny but I don’t find it feels like a paste or feels greasy.
I use the other supergoop sunscreens eg Play.
They all feel nice enough that I’m willing to use these daily even when it’s cloudy, which I never did before.

But obviously there’s always something better. If that’s important to you, keep searching.

I use the glow screen(golden hour)as a “primer” of sorts, cc cream (226w) over that and seal with the setting powder(medium). This combo is gentle, bright and never settles in pores or creases. I have very sensitive skin and have had absolutely no troubles with these products. I just bought the resetting spray so I can keep on top of the spf through the day.

Glowscreen is awful. Sits on top of your skin, heavy, sticky. I tried to use up my tube since it was pricey but ended up developing an allergy to it halfway through the bottle.
