Elections have consequences. |
It's what the Democrats told us wrt pulling cars over, and they're always right so..... Sorry pedestrians, you're on your own. Police aren't allowed to make traffic stops anymore. |
| And please start pulling over the cars with the loud engines. Im about to go all Wiley Coyote on their asses. |
Wiley E. Coyote is not exactly known for being successful with his schemes. |
|
DC launched "Vision Zero" to address pedestrian deaths. I didn't realize it meant "Do Zero."
Fwiw, I'm a Dem and live in DC in a neighborhood plagued by drag racing, ATVs and loud engines. We need to see a radical about face on traffic enforcement. What if law abiding folks boycotted paying the excessive parking tickets until we see some equity in enforcement of dangerous driving that truly punishes all of us who live here? |
Law-abiding folks don't get parking tickets in the first place. |
Stop. I am a Democrat, and I don't care who said it. If someone says that, repeat the question, what gives POCs the right or excuse to drive dangerously? Or for that matter anyone else? Repeat that question over and over until they run out of deflections and doublespeak that don't address the question, repeat it until they stop talking and acknowledge THEY ARE IN FACT WRONG . |
And in the few rare instances when we do, we pay them. DC needs to stop making lame ass excuses. |
Because you're white and have power. |
What does being white and having power have to do with people speeding, running red lights, using fake license plates, and not paying tickets? Nothing |
Progressive democrats decided that the best way to address past racism is to make all current laws in the district voluntary. |
Doesn't actually address the problem or the question above tho. Like I said keep asking the question until they realize they are idiots for not having the right answer. |
I don't recall that ever being on anyone's campaign platform. Maybe we need to be asking for them to specifically disclose their beliefs on policing when they run for office. |
I think the failure to curb smaller offenses has led to a sense of immunity for any and all crimes committed. |
The voters of dc. You quietly voted for this, over and over. Look in the mirror. |
