Aveda Brilliant shampoo, but they discontinued that too. Sob. Working through my last giant bottle.

I don’t use it every week, but the Ouai Detox Shampoo.

Are you sure it’s discontinued? Still on their website.

Another recommendation for Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo, it's my holy grail.

What?!??? Is that why I haven’t been able to find it??

They discontinued my favorite moisturizer too. Not the company it used to be.

I'm another one who laments the loss of the Neutrogena clarifying shampoo. It was great. I saw that someone was selling a bottle on Amazon for $55, which is nuts, but shows how popular it was.

Suave (easy to find, clarifying without being too harsh), Prell (a bit harsh but I love the literally squeaky clean feel, my hair does squeak after rinsing it off), Herbal Essences Chamomile (least harsh while clarifying but hard to find, rose is ok but not as clarifying)

Another vote for Ouai detox. Smells so good and a little goes a long way so I don’t feel so bad spending the money on it

K18's detox shampoo

Neutrogena clarify and shine (grapefruit) is as close as I can find to the original anti-residue formula. It’s also very reasonably priced.

Isn’t it harsh though?

Not as harsh as it used to be. The new formulas are more gentle, and I think they even have specific gentle formulas. I have blonde highlights, so technically treated and I dont notice anything bad. I don't use it weekly though, my hair is generally dry. But probably every other week. I like the green apple one!

Maybe just a vinegar rinse?

I use the suave daily clarifying shampoo every day and it works great. (Also I don't feel like it "strips" my hair, but ymmv.)
