Please recommend your weekly de-gunking shampoo

Ever since Neutrogena's purifying shampoo was discontinued, I've been at a loss and I get pretty bad build-up. Hair is color-treated.

They discontinued my favorite moisturizer too. Not the company it used to be.

Aveeno’s ACV clarifying shampoo is really great.

Don’t do it weekly, it’ll strip your hair. Every 3-4 weeks max! I use Malibu Curl Partner, it’s this little packet of crystals you activate with water.

How do I know if I have shampoo build up? Why have a never heard of this?
