Ooh, good one. I never think of this.

I had the NYT recipe with avocado chunks for lunch yesterday. It is sooo good.

Does farmer’s market count? I don’t know what a farm stand is, unless you mean a stand that mostly sells fruit and jam.

I just had lunch made up of mostly farmers market items:

Split day old baguette, toasted
Spread with grocery hummus
Topped with roasted eggplant picked this morning from my garden
Added sliced cornichon, Greek feta dressing
Topped with market beet salad
Drizzled with small batch olive oil (given to me as a gift)

^ also added tomato slices, again from my garden

Breakfast-Half a toasted Everything bagel with cream cheese, a thick salted, peppered slice of tomato, and some slivered onion.

Lunch-Gazpacho and a BLT.

Dinner-Grilled chicken thighs, pasta with Sungold tomato sauce, sautéed zucchini with garlic and Italian parsley.

Dessert-Warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream

Norman's Farm Stand is open every day on Massachusetts Ave just above Westbard Avenue. They have great produce.
