How crass. The leader of America owes it to all America to be moral. He should treat his own family with love, dignity, and care. He doesn’t need to pander to voters. Wth is your problem? |
I’m sorry where did you live in the 2020-2024 time frame? I am someone who was critical of his not acknowledging his grandchild, but I don’t think he needs to take any lessons in or lectures on morality from the Republican Party. |
Bro the crappiest thing a person can do is deny that own blood- especially an innocent baby. |
And yet you guys get all worked up when someone criticizes Jefferson over his treatment of his children with Sally Hemings. Could you pick a side please? |
WTF? Non-sequitur, much? ![]() ![]() DP |
Not a republican. This is about being a decent human being. |
And failing to recognize her wasn’t decent. I agree. He has now done so. I don’t think he owes people who hate him more details than that. |
Just extraordinarily tired of the hypocrisy. The liberal media called Biden out on this, which is the only reason he’s doing what his detractors claim to want, and they complain about the liberal media. He acknowledged the grandchild, which was the right thing to do, and now he’s amoral. …but they want us governed by a rapist. |
Someone early in the thread said something about a divorce settlement
That was why I asked. He did get married and had a baby a few years ago with the new wife. He never married this child’s mother. Any legal agreement has to do with paternity and support. It sounds like the legal mess was going on even after paternity was established. I don’t know that I would be putting myself in the middle of things with legal proceedings ongoing. |
+100 A senator can do whatever they want. Who cares? |
Nobody other than a parent makes a plan for a 4 yo to be anywhere. |
So when PP says there’s nothing worse than denying one’s own blood, we should only apply that to presidents? What a weird moral standard. |
This is not even remotely the crappiest thing a person could do. “Blood.” Are we in Harry Potter or in reality here? The child’s parents are in charge of the child. Period, the end. |
They didn't want Navy to become a campaign issue. 😕 |
