Texas caviar. I omit the tomatoes for personal reasons but I like that it has a lot of fiber. I treat it as a bean salad and not a salsa.

Ina Garten’s Cape Cod Chopped Salad used to be my favorite thing ever. For serving with steak I’d probably cut down on the bacon and I preferred almonds to walnuts. Blue cheese started to cause me migraines and I miss eating this salad so so much. https://barefootcontessa.com/recipes/cape-cod-chopped-salad-1

Maybe corn in the cob, and then potato salad, a big green salad, watermelon, caprese salad?

Yes to all of the above. A neighbor friend of mine also makes a cheddar/apple salad that I’m weirdly obsessed with, even though it’s not really summery, but it is cold. I’ve also made a green bean salad served with a vinaigrette that is meant to be eaten at room temperature.

Although I usually add in a Mac and cheese option if there are kids involved. My kids like the other stuff, but it’s still a fan favorite!

You sound fun.

Do you also lead calisthenics at BBQ’s?

Stop judging people who are probably happier than you.
