Suggestions for vegetarian picnic foods

Salad rolls (made with rice paper) or lettuce rolls stay delicious with an ice pack. Hummus or white bean dip with crudite. Ratatouille sandwiches or panini (prepared ahead of time). Bean salads. Most sturdy salads will keep well in a cooler. Cheese is also pretty safe to bring.

Btw, I know you said vegetarian but I read it as you were looking for non perishable things. Jerky is obviously not vegetarian if that’s actually what you meant!

Same. If it's just for OP what does it really matter. I'd pack some snacks I like. I pack a bag of sinful chips I would never buy for home!
Everyone is offering all these crowd-pleasing foods. Wrong thread for that!

If this is just for me, I would indulge and buy a lot of my favorite summer fruits that can be eaten whole, pack a small container of cornichons and grainy mustard, pack a half of wheel of brie, and bring some good rolls. Or I would pack a chopped salad, a small container of homemade vinegarette, a small can of tuna in olive oil, a handful of olives, and a good roll.
