Rape attempted at Shady Grove metro

I'm betting the schizophrenia is linked to heavy marijuana use, probably as an adolescent. The report says mental health services are revolving doors, so it sounds like she's had him referred before but they just keep letting him back out. People say they want us to "improve mental health services" but do they realize that means make it easier to commit and hold people who might otherwise do harm to themselves and others?


Unconscionable that he has a warrant out, the mother finds him and points him out to a police officer, and the PO refused to do his job. The attempted rape happened 2 hours later.

People like this need to be off the street, his own mother tried to get him locked up for everyone's safety, and wasn't able to.

I know the old mental institutions were awful, but allowing people who are a ticking time bomb to just wander around is not good either.
