PP here, and I will add that the best deli BLT I've had in Alexandria has been from Slaters Market.

The woodmont blt at woodmont deli in Bethesda. It is a blt prepared just like you would want. And they use a tarragon mayo that gives it a little something special. So good.

I have gotten the silver diner blt many times. Good, but room for improvement. I like crispier bacon. Also, their default is not to toast the bread which is unacceptable. I love SD but come on.
