How can I make this vacation more luxurious?

Next week we will be taking a previously planned and paid for long weekend trip to a mountain lodge for hiking. Think the lodge at Yellowstone or Grand Canyon—in the middle of nowhere with limited amenities (no spa, one restaurant, overcrowded pool, etc.)

What can I do to maximize relaxation on this trip in this circumstance?

Where is your normal getaway?

You sound ridiculous. You booked it, so hike and enjoy nature. Don't expect DCUM to feel sorry for you.

Bring fancy wine. Bring expensive chocolate for smores. Bring candles so that you can enjoy candle-lit evenings. Bring caviar and use it as a dip for potato chips. Stop at a farmers market for fresh fruit and veggies. Put fresh cut flowers in your cabin. Buy luxurious new PJs for everyone.
