Which U.S. Presidents had genuinely good, solid marriages?

77!

Looked it up. 76 years. Something must be going right if two people can tolerate, let alone love, each other for that long. I was born way after the Carter administration but they are adorable.

+1 People often chuckled over Carter's strong Christian faith and his comments about "lusting in the heart," but he lived the faithful life he described.

Lol. Nope. Obama was always faithful.

Don't think he was.

For all their problems the Clintons are still together.

It's not a good, solid marriage when one partner is a serial cheater. Even though she didn't want to stay home and bake cookies, HRC has been incredibly determined to "stand by her man."

They are still together and considering all they went through, it's a pretty damn solid.

They’re legally still married, but certainly aren’t much “together” at all.

If you live in the WH, people do actually know. Remember Hillary throwing table lamps at Bill? Heck, most women would have probably thrown more than that at Bill. The humiliation of Monica must have been horrific for Hillary.

There's a reason why Michelle considered divorce multiple times.

It was well known that Bush Sr had a long time mistress.
