Kind of, but not quite. Jello was made by General Foods, which merged with Kraft in 1990. Pudding Pops were first discontinued in the 1990s, which was before the Cosby scandal broke. (Cosby was the face of Jello through the 1990s and also pitched Jello online in 2010.) Popsicle bought the rights to pudding pops and relaunched them in 2004, but with a different shape and supposedly a different recicipe and sales slumped. |
Not the PP, but I just made fudgsicles the other day they taste more like pudding pops! Really easy. https://www.chocolatemoosey.com/homemade-fudgesicles/ |
Same and I just turned 40! I never liked the strawberry ones though. |
I'm 32 and while I don't really remember the product, I definitely associate them with Bill Cosby and can't hear the words pudding pop without hearing his voice. |
I am 45 and remember Cosby was the spokesperson, but most of my memories are just about childhood greatness. I wish they would bring them back. |
Same. I recently stumbled across a re-issue of the scratch and sniff stickers I collected in ES. Why not these? There’s clearly a nostalgia market. |
