I remember a few years back the local police or sheriffs were called by a concerned ex-$cientologist who wanted to do a well-check on Shelly. The police did it, said her whereabouts were known, and she simply didn't want to contact anyone. Unfortunate, but Shelly is an adult making the choice to be in a cult and accept cult punishment.
