You're pathetic

So you'd rather punish her child by not allowing her to get a balloon? Just because her parent is an elected official? That doesn't make sense.

Of course not. We would rather punish every kid who is waiting in line and learning about good manners. This is a great lesson to teach your kids if they were in that line about race.

Race? WTH are you talking about? Are you drunk? This isn’t Fairfax Underground.

Honestly it just underscores what an amateurish politician she is. DC pols are like single A baseball players. They are a long, long way from the big leagues.

Seriously. Any decent politician would understand that was a huge NO. Put a junior staffer at the end of the line to get the balloon animal.

How many idle junior staffers are you envisioning that Bowser has on the Fourth of July?

Had no idea she had a daughter.

A whole bunch of them were sent to march in all the local parades. She could have spared one for this stupid balloon line.

And if anyone said anything they would be Karen’d and put on SM

Maybe folks in line offered her the option?

This is a non-issue, OP.

We go every year. She has loads of people there- staff and volunteers. I get why she did it. It would have been a better look to have someone get it for her DD.

Wasn’t there but I’d assume she was offered to go to the front. It could possibly be more annoying having her stand in line with people possibly talking to her and holding things up more.

It is nice seeing politicians actually make time for their children. Hopefully it’s not all for show

If she pushed in front of people, that would be a different story.

Why did she do it?
