Slim, Athletic, Average

I'm very muscular and work out a lot, but characterize myself as average. I'm 5'4" and 116 lbs. I run marathons, practice yoga, and do some light weights. I say average because I look average (in my face), but I am slim and athletic. So, all of the above!

average

grunt grunt (move head side to side in confused fashion).

I’m a guy. When I see “average” I think fat and gross and out of shape.

Thank goodness we’ll dodge a bullet.

I'm mid 50s, looking for a man late 40s to early 60s. I would sincerely hope that those men would not limit their searches to women who are "slim" or "athletic," because how many women in that age range are truly slim or athletic?

Maybe JLo is athletic. And I don't have a figure like JLo. I never have. I don't have muscular legs and glutes. Is Jennifer Aniston considered athletic or average? I wouldn't consider either one of those women to be slim. Some older men over the age of 50 might even consider women with JLo's figure to be "a few extra pounds" in clothing.

There’s no free-form text in your app? Put whatever feels right in the selection, and add your weight in the free-form text profile.

Use "fit" instead of athletic. I would use athetic to describe my interests and not my body type

Can you just put non-retouched full body photos?

Op is using an app that has specific answers to choose from, her post with this is near the bottom of the first page.

eHarmony

I have full body photos where it is clear what my body shape looks like.

I just hope I don't get filtered out of searches by having to select only one body type. The choices are slim, athletic, average, a few extra pounds, large, or not specified.

You put your height, but not weight. I am 5'4" and I weigh 125 pounds. I workout daily, but I am not an athlete.

The problem is that average =a few extra pounds and a few extra pounds = large.

I’d put athletic and then in profile qualify you are a daily moderate exerciser.

If they filter someone out on that, do you really want them?

Also, try Hinge if you are looking to date.

Alright. It’s been a day. What did your first day on the app bring?
