LOL, how do you figure? The 29 BLC team has lost to Next Level 2x over the past year, along with losing to Pride in NGLL and only beat Stars by 1 goal in NGLL. They haven't beaten any of the top MD teams. The rankings are all very similar for local clubs at the 29 level, so how you can say BLC is the clear team to beat is not based on any facts: BLC- 12 Next Level- 13 Pride- 15 Stars- 18 |
Previous poster said that Pride and Stars are in a higher bracket than BLC and NL, but the national rankings show BLC and NL with a slight edge for 2029. They do look very close but if you believe in rankings BLC is the team to beat. |
I see reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Losing to NL and Pride doesn't make them the team to beat. Pride and Stars produce better teams year in and year out. |
I see that numbers aren’t your strong suit though your sarcasm game is strong. Teams ranked 12 and 13 aren’t worse than teams ranked 15 and 18. |
NL beat BLC by 1 in their last meeting. So, by your logic, if Stars is better than BLC despite losing to them by 1, then why wouldn't BLC be better than NL? Also, in their indoor winter league (I know not the same but still a data point), BLC beat NL by 20! I don't think it's so obvious that BLC is worse than NL. NL has 1-2 very good players but not a lot of depth. Has NL beaten any of the top MD teams? Yes, BLC lost to Pride but it's the only time they've ever lost to Pride. At the end of the day, those four 29 teams are pretty close to each other. |
| Who is taking over as HC of BLC 29s after this season? I heard the lax bro coach is leaving. Got to think that is a plus for the team moving forward. |
I hear the 2030 coach is moving to the 2029s. |
There is parity among the local 2029's. 4 strong teams. Why is that not the case amongst the 30's. BLC 2030's are the dominant team in the DC area by a very wide margin. It will be interesting to see the how many girls depart from Pride, NL, MC/YJ to BLC, or other teams, during try outs. |
Ha! you hear wrong. |
