Is two full time jobs still a thing?

We have to do annual financial disclosure form. Not possible for me to do anything like that unless job 2 is working at home depot on the wkds.

I had the J1, J2 job was interviewing for J3, J4 and J5.
I was offered J3 in Fall 2022, a good high paying job in DC mostly in person, but guy was all over me as CEO directly negotiating and by passing HR. He would not accept my no. He offered a 60k raise over job on my resume and sign in and totally confused why I said no. He did not know I be quitting two jobs.

J4, J5 and J6 interviewing in early 2023.

J4 was a total bs remote job beneath me. Only paid 180k but I could add it as a third. Guy I think sniffed me out so was a no.

J5 was a really good job so was J6. In middle of interviewing J2 off boarded me no reason. I thought they found something but no. Just let me go and gave me $50,000 severance.

I started J5 60 days after J2 ended but kept J1 as waiting on J6. J6 was a job with a 200k raise. Long shot. I ended up not getting J6.

I held on to J1 till I got my bonus in early May and gave notice.J5 is my only job now.

Was hard to leave J1. They countered. But I kept running into in person or suspicious remote only people in 2023.

I had a j7 and j8 approach. Both pushing me to interview. But I am taking time off this summer with one job.

Btw complete shock when J2 off boarded out of blue no cause and a second shock when they paid 50k severance on a ten month remote job. I truly think I was hired to be fired. He had some weird thing with sr. Manager women who worked for him.he wanted to make her head but board would not have it, plugged me in and played me. Then he was able to give it to her after tossing me. Funny part he played me while I played him so all good and good for his mistress I guess.

But the parties over.

You do know those are meaningless. It just gives company right to fire you if caught working two full time jobs etc. We are “at will” employees anyhow.

I bet you company’s compiling 2022 data may have noticed the spike in terminated remote employees not filing for unemployment or COBRA insurance. I my self fired a remote worker double dipping and he just tried to get a PIP etc. he could care less about cobra and unemployment.

I think the gig is up. And Hybrid os stupid. Look Capital One has folks back Tuesday’s and Thursdays. Navy Federal only one day most folks do Wed. One could easily work calypso one and Navy Federal at same time. Heck Freddie Mac around corner also like 3-5 days a month. One could work at all 3 firms in hybrid. I am sure some people are doing just that.

I have J-1 (hybrid), J-2 (WFH), J-3 (hybrid), and J4 (WFH).

J-1 and J-2 are FT, J-3 and J-4 are PT (J-4 is usually only an hour or so per week, with one week of FT work).

Sadly, I am only getting paid for J-1.

Not in Govt. And they can track it down soon or later. Govt knows more than you think.
