Anyone else doing a summer adhd med-break?

Oh yeah, NO WAY. He'll be flipping out on people and possibly get kicked out of camp by day 2 of this plan. Definitely don't do it. I also don't think med breaks are a great idea. This is doctor-sanctioned?

This.

We’ve tried all this except adding another medicine. He was also having major stomach aches that we needed to see if caused by meds. Believe me we wouldn’t have resorted to this if we didn’t need to.

He’s been off the meds the entire month of June, not right before camp.

Unfortunately he can’t stay awake during the day if he’s on Intuniv alone with the stimulant. So we had to take him off both.

OP here again. This comment is hilarious if you’d know my son. He’s ADHD-Inattentive and has never been in trouble or had an emotional outburst a day in his life. He is the daydreamer stuck in his head so the worst case scenario is counselors having to repeat his name several times to get his attention. Yes, very much doctor sanctioned, hasn’t gained weight all year.
