| To me, a McMansion is a mass produced home sited in new developments on former farmland so there are no mature trees around. It's where every house is the same and is usually garishly big, with a two-story foyer and no charm whatsoever. |
| No. |
| No. It’s good quality, custom, brick on all four sides and its exterior doesn’t look like someone made it up from a mix of styles. It’s classic. |
According to the Oxford Languages, whatever that is, a "McMansion" is a large modern house that is considered ostentatious and lacking in architectural integrity. This to me is totally subjective. What's ostentatious to one person, is elegant to another. So with that said, to me this is not a McMansion. It's quite tastefully done and not at all distasteful or gaudy. |

It's McMansiony but not the worst sort of New Jersey variety.
The overproduced Redfin-style photos with extreme angles make it look tackier than it probably is in real life. |
Uh, no. |

I love this, but I really like that she has an actual set of criteria besides "it's tacky." |
I just looked at it and the houses around it on google maps and in my opinion, I say no, it isn't. |
| I vote No, it looks like it has some high quality construction materials. |
| It's the epitome of McMansion. The dictionary definition. |
|
No.
|
| Nope |
Did you read the quote above? This house doesn’t meet that at all. It may not be your taste but by no means would this be over the top large tacky home. |
