Kristin Mink's Apology

How can anyone with common damn sense listen to the crap that comes of Mink's mouth and not conclude that she is a racist?

I mean imagine leaving a company because you state that it is too Asian, too Hispanic, or too black. Yet that's the type of statement she made for leaving her previous organization regarding white people and how she hates white women.

And now here she is insulting Muslims now. She is absolutely toxic waste kryptonite. How can anyone so divisive and so hateful possibly run an effective govt for all that requires compromise between all groups? This kind of firebrand politics goes nowhere and produces nothing.

I guarantee you this "apology" only happened because someone from the council or similar got to her and said "do you realize how nuts you are making us look here?"

And the the zealots defending her on twitter, or saying she was misunderstood- sit the next few plays out. Go outside, touch grass. Not everything in politics is a team sport.

An apology means nothing if the underlying behavior doesn't change.

Maybe she will, but I'd bet money that her opinions on the matter, and more importantly, her future behavior/comments will change/be more respectful of that community
