According to who?

NPR? The WaPo ?

The PP is an idiot troll who actually thought no one would call her on her BS. “Low teens”? More like 51% approval rating.

According to the poll, from February, Governor Youngkin’s approval rating has dropped six points, with 51% of Virginians reporting that they approved his job as governor. Youngkin’s favorability rating is also down six points since February, with a rating of 46%.

+1

Hard pass on religious nutter trying to control women.

Morning Consult is the gold standard for consistent approval ratings and he’s at 56% as of April.

BUT plenty of popular Republican governors won’t win a Senate race in their states. Hogan knows that so he won’t even run. Ditto the popular GOP governors in Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire.

+1. Approval doesn't translate to voting for him for as one of your two Senators. I think his approval rating would be much, much lower if he had been able to get his legislative proposals through the VA Legislature.

That 15 week abortion ban isn't going to play well to the majority of women, and especially not where he would have to win votes in NoVa.

in ultra blue/red states like Mass, MD, KS, etc. the governorship doesn’t matter as much since the legislature has a majority to veto pretty much anything passed by the governor. that’s why it’s much more contentious in states like virginia, georgia, nevada, etc.

You should def write in the name "Glen Youngkin" next year for US Senate. While you're at it, write him in for state senate too.

I don't like him. He tries to appeal to both the Trumpy base and the moderates, but he does this by not having opinions. I have more respect for someone like DeSantis who owns his crazy (or what I perceive to be crazy) rather than pretend he's something he's not.

Didn't vote for him in 2021 because I am a Democrat. He got lucky about the sexual assault in Loudoun County and the fact that Dems shit the bed on that.

You would prefer DeSantis and you’re a democrat?
