I’ve instructed my loved ones to do whatever is convenient and they want to do. I’m open to composting but fine with cremation or burial or whatever.

Don't put this burden on your loved ones. You should make a decision and then they don't have to decide while they are grieving. What if one child wants burial and one wants cremation and now you have conflict over that? It is kinder for you to make the call.
