What was for lunch yesterday and today and how was it?

McDonald's cheese burger and fries- I had it 2 days in a row- delicious and really hit the spot for some reason. I typically will only have McDonalds 2 or 3 times a year... We are really busy with some house renovations and career right now and I know I am comfort eating.

Yesterday- hummus (perfect pita brand jalapeño hummus - so delicious) with lettuce and cucumbers in a pita. Today- turkey with lettuce and avocado and honey mustard on good italian bread.

Do you get the Perfect Pita hummus from the Perfect Pita store directly , or do they sell it somewhere else too?

Yesterday I had baked tofu with BBQ sauce and roasted potatoes. Today I'm bringing leftover broccoli soup. If I don't have leftovers, I do yogurt and fruit and or veggies, and maybe some pretzels.

I bought the marinated pesto balls from Costco yesterday morning so had some of those in a bowl with tomatoes cut up. Will probably have the same thing today.,

Banana and peanut butter. I was home but in a hurry.

Yesterday I had a frozen Smuckers Uncrustable sandwich. I like to eat healthy so I scooped out most of the jelly and cut the crust off.

Big caprese salad, with avocado added. Turned out to not fill me up (wish I had some chicken on hand for more protein but alas), so I had a banana and peanut butter soon after.

This is ... not an Uncrustable.

Anonymous wrote:Yesterday: a huge salad from a place we all call "the $20 salad" - mine was $17 and change. Romaine, lentils, quinoa, slivered almonds, peach, red pepper. The guy really packed it in - I could have eaten half for lunch and half for dinner but I stuffed it all in for lunch. So damn good.
Today: orange chicken and fried rice, plus some carrot sticks. It was the first time I had the chicken and rice at this place, and the chicken seemed oddly crunchy, almost kind of burnt, so maybe I won't get it again. Will either cut up a mango or eat a banana for snack later.
was this Whole Foods?

Anonymous wrote:I have really boring lunches, but I enjoy them. A salad of crunchy lettuce, cucumber, cheese, cabbage, tomatoes, chickpeas and homemade dressing that I make. I change what’s in the salad based on what is in my fridge. But it always has good crisp lettuce and homemade dressing and that is what makes it good and why I eat it every day without getting tired of it.
what is your dressing?

Wow. All of you are making me hungry. I just had a bowl of oatmeal. Boring. But quick.
