What time does ES start?

This. Our ES starts at 9:00, our MS starts at 8:15 and our HS starts at 7:45. Every once in a while MCPS does a study on options for making the HS start time later. The biggest roadblock is the cost of purchasing additional busses, which the county wants to avoid.

Even if they bought more school buses, who is going to drive them? The big issue is we don't have enough drivers.

And is buying more buses and hiring more drivers the best use of resources? We already spend most of the school's money on the many central office jobs, and what little is left mostly goes to closing the gap. There's less and less spent on education these days.
