Boarding for 10th grade?

I went to boarding in 9th but a lot more kids came in 10th. Only do it if your kids wants to go. And it is not some secret entry into the Ivy. Also the work is hard and grades might be better at current private or public

Not necessarily. At my DC's school 60 % of the kids are on financial aid. It is a MUCH less wealthy crowd (in a good way) than my other child's private. (Not in DC area)
