Googling it didn’t really help me because there was no clear “we hate gays” post. I appreciate PP digging up those you tube links for me.

These churches are getting really good at hiding their beliefs. They can get money out of you for a few weeks until the next anti-gay sermon comes along and shocks you.

Always click on the "what we believe" link and read carefully.

So how are they “hiding their beliefs”, exactly?

Not the PP, but sometimes you have to read those statements of faith very carefully to figure out who a church welcomes. I’ve had times where I’m like, “dude, just tell me what you think of gays, divorce, and abortion, and we’ll save each other a lot of time.” But you have to wade through a lot of, “we are an affirming community of Christ who believe in the sanctity of the holy, the inspiration of God’s wisdom, the presence of the Holy Spirit, the incarnation of the real, and who choose to worship together as a devoted flock for His glory.”

Cornerstone will love you, welcome you, and not judge you. Its a Bible teaching and believing church so any lifestyle that goes against that is not celebrated or recognized including living together before marriage and LGBTQ lifestyles. So you can attend and become a part of the community and also hear about what the Bible says about sexuality, marriage, community, growing in Christ, etc.

A church in Bowie that will celebrate all lifestyles is St. Matthews. https://stmatthews-bowie.org/

Pray about it and listen to what the Lord would have you do and the church to attend.

Basically this. They'll drive you at night to the hospital if you're feeling unwell, but they'll not want to listen to your story about last Tuesday's orgy.

But I want a church that approves my orgies. Can anyone help me find a pro-orgy church?

Nor will they affirm and support your basic rights as a human being - like the right to marry the person of your choice

All Bible based churches teach directly from the Bible. There is no "they". It doesn't matter what the pastor/minister/priest, you or I think. What does the word of God say? Pretty simple. No need for your "fix".

I think there is a lot of space between those options you offer up. Churches that are welcoming to LGBTQ are not talking about orgies any more than that is a topic at regular non-affirming churches (unless you attend one of those super fundamentalist ones where it’s clear their pastors are obsessed with sex and sexually abusing young teens - look up the scandal of the day today in fundamentalist land).

A lot of the big evangelical churches hate to think of themselves as hateful, so they bury it in word salads and get super angry about being called out on it. But yeah, homosexuality is not compatible with Cornerstone.
