OP here: I asked the host (an aunt) and she told me that the bride wants “no gifts” for the shower or wedding which is why there is no registry. 😅 I can’t show up empty handed so I guess I’ll figure out something but this is kind of annoying haha

The whole point of a shower is to "shower" the bride with gifts. Is this really just a G-rated "bachelorette party?"

I'd find it annoying too and I'd be tempted to show up with a crystal candy dish or something.
