| I vote no. Too casual. |
| No. Why not take the opportunity to wear a pretty sundress or something feminine and springy. |
| Absolutely, pair it with a pretty blouse and nice jewelry. |
| I think it’s fine. Maybe not for the mom, but for an aunt it sounds appropriate. |
Absolutely fine if accessorized well. I don't get people who overdress for an outdoor summer event of hundreds of people. |
| I wouldn’t, but you’ll see people wearing white jeans for sure and they’ll look perfectly appropriate. Last year I went to two college commencements and a law school commencement and saw a wide range of outfits. Actually, that was part of what made it fun — great people-watching! |

You will look like Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, but who cares? If you wear white jeans it’s important that you get the top right- should be an expensive looking tunic or similar. Check out Lilly Pulitzer . Pay attention to accessories, jeweled sandals or a wedge and pedicure. Any sort of tee top and you’ll look like you’re headed to Costco. |
| I don’t think it’s too casual but aren’t most graduations outside? Unless she’s graduating somewhere extremely dry I’d worry about long white trousers and mud/grass stains. |
|
Another vote that it’s perfectly fine. People will be wearing everything for a college graduation. I’d only worry about rain and the possibility of getting dirty.
My kid graduated HS last weekend and I saw tons of white pants. And shorts. As long as you look put together you’ll be fine. |
| I would not. Op have some class. |
| No jeans white or not… a dress (even informal) or nice slacks and top. |
| Grad attire varies widely but take it up a notch not to be self conscious. |
| Just attended a college graduation. White jeans would have been ok, but definitely on the casual side. You'll also be in alot of family pics. Is this an outfit you want to be remembered in? |

My son's college graduation was last week. It was in a freezing cold basketball arena and then they dumped us outside in the wind and light drizzle. There was no hope of a nice family picture!
I saw people in shorts, jeans, and informal dresses. |
| Could be okay if dressed up, but I wouldn't risk it if you have to sit outside or in bleachers it a stadium setting. |
