Of course they aren't the same thing. But what truth is there in saying things like "supposedly good high school" and other cutting comments about the education system, which is great? FCC residents are proud of our schools but also aware that Fairfax, Arlington, etc are excellent. These comments seem less about speaking the truth and more about being mean/defensive/snarky for no actual reason.

ES teacher who filled in at Meridian earlier in the year. It seems the lane-duck associate principal has checked out even more than he already had been.

Vice signaling is more important than solving problems.

The main problem here was that a a crime OUTSiDE of school was undetected by law enforcement. The school was BETTER than outside because the school at least led to the perpetrator being captured.

As long as we have evil boys and men, we'll have rapes. Unless maybe we chemically temporary castrate minor boys. But I doubt you'd go for that.
