Of course they aren't the same thing. But what truth is there in saying things like "supposedly good high school" and other cutting comments about the education system, which is great? FCC residents are proud of our schools but also aware that Fairfax, Arlington, etc are excellent. These comments seem less about speaking the truth and more about being mean/defensive/snarky for no actual reason. |
But thank God they changed the name from George Mason High School. Can you imagine how bad the school would be if they hadn't made the change? |
Thank you for making my point. Such an unnecessary comment. Just go be happy with your own school and let other people enjoy theirs. This is not a difficult concept. |
Because virtue signaling is more important than worries about crime in schools. |
Same reason they hate ATS. |
I would bet it's a very few people who love to jump on any thread about FCC and/or the schools. I think most people on DCUM couldn't care less about FCC or the schools. |
Well, something must be happening if they’re bringing a former temporary admin back to finish the school year for “extra support.”
I’m sure it’s fine though. Totally normal thing to do. |
who are they bringing back? |
ES teacher who filled in at Meridian earlier in the year. It seems the lane-duck associate principal has checked out even more than he already had been. |
Vice signaling is more important than solving problems. > The investigation gave detectives probable cause to believe that the accused had also sexually assaulted a second juvenile female off campus outside of school hours, approximately one month earlier. The main problem here was that a a crime OUTSiDE of school was undetected by law enforcement. The school was BETTER than outside because the school at least led to the perpetrator being captured. As long as we have evil boys and men, we'll have rapes. Unless maybe we chemically temporary castrate minor boys. But I doubt you'd go for that. |
