| I might be totally off-base here, but what about a really nice thermos or water bottle (Yeti, Hydroflask, etc.)? This would be a practical "small luxury" she'll be able to use forever. |
| Maybe some jigsaw puzzles of nature scenes? |
| Nice porch chair |
A nice bag is a good idea. Not leather-nice but practical teacher nice. |
| Just a visa gift card |
| Basket of preserves from the farmers market. |
No, a bag is way too personal. I’m with the gift card posters- Visa so she can treat herself to whatever she wants -along with a thoughtful card. Perfect. |
| Linen towels and hand lotion are nice. |
Plus she can regift them to her least favorite SIL. Total win. |
You caught it, PP! |
| Perhaps offer to take her out to lunch, a movie or an event that you think she may enjoy? |

A gift basket with assorted fresh fruit and snacks from Harry and David — something that has a nice variety but not too much of any one item.
If there’s a place where teachers get lunch near the school, you can her get a gift card from there. Flowers — the teachers where I worked really loved getting flowers that a florist arranged. |
OP here and midway through the year I gave her hand soap and towels from Target and she was SO happy. Genuinely so. So that gives you an idea!

Oh, I love this idea! Both sounds like something so would like (not Christian, but otherwise also like the the person you are describing). |
| A Land’s End tote bag and a nice water bottle like someone else suggested. Maybe a Barnes and noble gift card to go with it. |
