Kid (or kid friendly) shows on Netflix that aren't really really annoying?

Sorry ignore me, just remembered this is Amazon prime.

+ 1 to the Inbestigators and Brain Child. We also really like Hilda.

Would your kids be in to competition shows? My son loves dance monsters, and some cooking competition, and singing competition shows. Also lego masters.

I actually find most of the kid content on Netflix entertaining. Inspector gadget, how to train your dragon, jurassic world, all come to mind. Others have listed the other stuff we like too: brainchild, Shaun the sheep, investigators.

These are probably too young for the 8 year old, but my 5.5 year old still likes Trash Truck and Puffin Rock. Both are on Netflix, and both are very chill/normal voices.

Get the pbs streaming app and watch odd squad, ruff ruffkn, and wild kratts. Maybe mama mirabelle’s home movies.

Netflix is not great for that age. The earth series from England is on it I think and my kids liked that for a while. We also watched last airbender but I found that annoying and a series of unfortunate events which was great. Merlin is good for slightly older kids.

Aussie show that’s sweet but not preachy.

Octonauts.

We also liked the Magic School Bus and Number blocks, and agree that almost everything else is totally unbearable!

Octonauts is really quality, though.

Other than that, my kids go through a lot of the PBS kids series on Amazon Prime -- curious george, dinosaur train, nature cat.

We basically can’t find any Netflix kids shows that are watchable other than magic school bus.

+1 to PBS kids shows and bluey for the younger one.

I also have Amazon Prime and am open to YouTube too!
Kid likes cooking shows which is great because I like those too (like Chef Show) but there is cursing in some episodes so I have to be on my game with mute.

Hilda is legit good. The graphic novels are also excellent. I don’t mind watching Emily’s Wonder Lab and Puffin Rock (though that’s preschool age). I keep trying to get my 8 year old to watch Kipo and the Wonderbeasts and She-Ra, but she’s not interested (yet!).
