Then in exchange, I guess we should send all of the mentally ill, the people with a history of domestic violence and anger management issues to Texas where they will be allowed to buy guns and shoot more kids in classrooms, since it comes with responsibilities to have weak gun laws and to turn a blind eye to glaring gun violence problems.

By "responsibilities" you mean you feel DC should be punished - for not doing something that is not their job, but the federal government's job to do, and for which DC receives no federal dollars to do. And again, DC has no say in immigrant policy. We don't have a vote. If you want federal action on this, you need to send them to places that DO have a vote.

They are a burden to taxpayers already. Send them directly to DC, and blue states. You voted to have your tax dollars pay for this, and agreed to take on the burden with your vote for Biden.
