Honey on chicken nuggets yes or no?

yes, I used to love the honey on the McD's nuggets as a kid.

Ottolenghi has a seeded fried chicken (the breaded coating for the chicken is made out of a variety of seeds, it sounds weird but it's amazing) tastes incredible drizzled with honey or dipped in honey. Might have to make it this weekend now that I've thought about it. So good.

Mmmmm that sounds wonderful. I make rice/cornflour fried chicken. Seeds doing like an amazing addition. Will look for recipe or if you check back, link?

They still show it at McDonald's on the ordering kiosk, but I've never actually gotten it when I order, just honey mustard. It's a shame. I loved it as a kid and wanted to share it with my kids.

So, order it and share it with your kids?

I think PP is saying when she orders the honey, they give her honey mustard.

Those sauces would make even that cardboard pretty tasty!

I have his cookbook Simple (which I highly recommend) and it's in there, but if you google "Ottolenghi seeded chicken schnitzel" you can probably find someone who has reviewed the recipe. I think it's one of the more popular ones in that cookbook.

So good.

Yes! I've introduced many people to this.

Do they no longer offer honey in the US? I live in Canada now and it's still an option.

Honestly, honey on chicken sounds repulsive. But I don’t like honey. To each his or her own.

Mmmm I remember dipping in a mix of honey and ketchup. I’d squeeze them out side by side, and I’d dip the nugget so that one side of the nugget had honey, and the other had ketchup. It was so good! Thanks for the memory, OP!
