I love honey with fried chicken. I haven't had a McDonald's chicken nugget in maybe 30 years but do still remember enjoying them with honey. Ottolenghi has a seeded fried chicken (the breaded coating for the chicken is made out of a variety of seeds, it sounds weird but it's amazing) tastes incredible drizzled with honey or dipped in honey. Might have to make it this weekend now that I've thought about it. So good.
Mmmmm that sounds wonderful. I make rice/cornflour fried chicken. Seeds doing like an amazing addition. Will look for recipe or if you check back, link?
I have his cookbook Simple (which I highly recommend) and it's in there, but if you google "Ottolenghi seeded chicken schnitzel" you can probably find someone who has reviewed the recipe. I think it's one of the more popular ones in that cookbook.
