Panic attacks at Disney

Assuming you are there with your spouse, let them take the kids to the parks the other days and stay at the hotel.

How do you know it's the "first" thing?
Why are you the appointed DCUM detective?
Posting here can be distracting and calming.
Why doubt someone in crisis? To what end, please?

Be pre-emptive tomorrow. Take down-day, drink more water than you think you need to, sit out a ride or two, and re-set mentally that it's OK not to jam in XYZ.

Are you the poster who took a nap and DH got mad?

Your body is not used to heat yet.

We were in Fla last week. The sunshine state it is (in a BAD way).

Water without salt is not enough. Experiment with Gatorade to see if you feel better.

Consider taking a Benadryl and try to sleep. You’re all keyed up and Benadryl will help calm you.

Keep your blood sugar level stable - eat some quality protein and eat a bit lighter. Hydrate.

Don’t drink any alcohol. It’s dehydrating and can make your blood glucose levels dip which can make you feel shakier and prone to another PA.

+1

Minimize caffeine, also.

Identify the main trigger, and minimize it. Family stress? The crowds? Something is setting you off.

So you’re first thought was to post on DCUM?
