Life Time Fitness Clarendon

I like that the membership is month to month, as opposed to annual, like Equinox.

I am also quite excited about this one. Do you know when exactly it will open?

I haven’t been able to get a hold of them to ask questions, but is the office coworking space not part of the $260? While $500 isn’t crazy for office space I wouldn’t need it full time.

No, it’s a separate membership and the pp is correct that it is $500 a month. I got an email with their pricing and it is a comprehensive membership of gym and coworking space. You can’t do it a la carte.

I joined their new Annapolis club and, while it is more expensive than any other gym I've joined before, it is totally worth it. The classes are great and worth the price alone. My only complaint is that the sauna/steam room are co-ed, which is really weird. Not sure if the Clarendon location will be similar, or if this is just a remnant of the old 24 Hour building where the Annapolis club is located.

It’s priced for your company to pay for it as your coworking space with gym benefit. It’s not for worker bees.

Ok so I joined. So far I LOVE it. I’m mostly a yoga gal and the yoga is meh, but the facility itself is beautiful and I love love love the spa area with steam, sauna, hot tub, and plunge pool. I never thought I’d use the cold plunge but now I’m addicted to it. The child care facility is phenomenal. My kid loves it but unfortunately the hours suck. That would be my only suggestion for improvement.

I also go here and love the facilities and cold plunge. The classes also are great. I upgraded from the Fairfax club, and it is a VERY different experience. Fairfax is a much older facility. My only complaint about Clarendon is that for $260/month, they really should have a swimming pool. I realize that space is more limited in Clarendon, but they shouldn't charge this much if they don't have a pool.

I live in Arlingtin, and The Saint James is just too far, I thought I would use it for more, but in fact, I never do. I really like the child care facility, but other things we join for, to use the courts and fields, has been annoying. They are always booked. In addition, the pool is massive, but way too cold, so we don’t really enjoy it. The waterpark is amazing, but it’s not set up for independent play, and the pool is also far too huge for us to use without me being extremely active there. For the water park, I have to be inside, and that’s not super fun. Similarly, for the super awesome amazing, I have to be there to supervise. So what’s the point. It also gets really crowded on the weekends.

Basically, I use a fraction of what The Saint James offers, all the things that we would like to use more are add-on fees are never available when we want to use them.

Super!
