How many drinks is too many drinks when going to a restaurant?

Go enjoy your kale and water, party pooper.

1-2. It was Easter brunch, not a sorority mixer!

I was not driving home, had eaten plenty and had a glass of water. The waitress looked at me like I just told her I was an alien from Mars. She then looked worryingly at my husband who also told her that I’m not driving. I don’t believe I was acting drunk and always thought no more than 3 drinks. How many drinks is too many?

Worriedly.

Lol, no. We'll drink as we please. You can fume in the corner with your Diet Fresca.

You’re probably louder than you think.

How many drinks for a lush?

I'll "clear out" whenever I'm damn good and ready, whether it's Easter Brunch or a midnight diner.

Your husband mentioning that you were not driving doesn't help at all. You both seem to see only one reason to cut you off. More often than not, they need the table or she needs to start wrapping up.

This. It’s a holiday brunch, they wanted you out of there. Either because they needed your table or your kids were obnoxious/ making a mess.

I’d agree but op said they were getting desert, not paying the check. Meal wasn’t over.

If there’s another reservation coming in or they want to turn the table it’s on the server/restaurant to move the meal along. They set the pace.

My dad had 4 bourbons at last night's Easter dinner and I thought that was to many. I would generally say 2 but I wouldn't judge you for 3 mimosas at brunch.
