If you're looking to buy an entry level suit for $200, proper tailoring for $150 makes it as expensive as mid range suits.

We got my son a really nice one at TJ max but I’ll note that the whole vibe of the store was really rough and we had to really hunt to find the suits scattered in with sweats and workout clothes. But it was really nice! We also got him one at kohl’s for about the same price which is obviously more cheaply made. I would have gone to nordstrom rack but they closed the one by us.

Wherever he ends up going, tell him to ask for a Classic cut suit. Otherwise, they'll sell him whatever is trendy (skinny cut, or bright blue, or whatever is trending at the moment), and he probably wants something that will last a long time

Don’t do this. Suitsupply or Indochino are the go tos for entry level suiting

Suit Supply and Indochino are not go tos for entry level suiting. Jos A Bank and Men's Warehouse are.

You don’t know what you are talking about. JA Banks is awful and Mens Warehouse is way overpriced for the quality.

Tailoring and fit and infinitely better at suit supply.

Thrift store for a good quality suit then take to a professional tailor.

Grooms Club. Call Ricardo. Just received a true navy suit that I ordered for my 19 yo. It’s 4 way tech stretch and very well made. Wrinkle free and travels well. Passed the DH test, and he has suits that cost thousands. It arrived overnight via UPS without paying for expedited shipping. The site is so easy, kind of like “garanimals” if anyone actually remembers it. Pick suit color, choose jacket size and waist size. Both jacket and pants come in standard or short. Grab a perfect white shirt with modern spread collar. I added a vest since it’s for a black tie wedding. He needs a new suit for interviews. This one will do double time (sans vest). Skip the ties since they’re bridal party ugly.

Don’t do this unless you plan to get it tailored once you receive.
