| OP they’re lying. Or are terribly uncomfortable. |
+1 I bought size 2 cropped leggings for myself and ended up giving them to my 11 yr old daughter who was maybe 75 lbs and 4'8" at the time. I could squeeze into them as long as I didn't try to breathe at the same time. |
Same; 5’1 and 100-103. I wear XXS/XS/0 in clothing but I am a 2 at Lululemon . You size UP there, not down! |
|
I size down for Align leggings and up for everything else.
I am a 6 or an 8 in regular clothing (pear shaped so sometimes and 4/6 on top or a 6/8 on bottom....depends on the brand) Align leggings are all 6 and fit nicely....tops are 8. |
Invigorate (it was recently discontinued). And please understand, I would never buy something that doesn’t fit for a certain number on the tag. I was totally baffled by the experience of shopping for these. I started with my usual size 14 and kept moving down until they actually fit. |
| I am size 2 in most of the brands, I have Lulu leggings in sizes 4 and 6. |
| Hmm. I sized up in leggings. One whole size |
| Thanks PPs for all of the feedback! I’ll look at the styles and try on if my local store has a 14. |
| I size down 2 sizes across the board in LL. I'm a 4/6 usually. In LL I wear 2/0 |
| I’m true to size at LLL (overweight mom bod) and so is my athletic college aged daughter. |
| My daughter at 11 years old, not overweight, was size 4 at Lululemon. The smallest 12 year old in our school team also wears size 4. This is all you need to know about their sizing. |
| I’m 5’3” and 100 pounds. Usually 0 or 00 and I wear 2 in Lululemon tops and 4 in bottoms. |
Agree. Or they didn’t know their real size to begin with. 5’4, 120 pounds and usually wear an extra small, or small at Athleta, and wear a six at Lululemon. |
Me too. Especially for the bottoms. Tops seem true to size but despite being small I have muscular legs and they feel squeezed and sausage like in most LL leggings (which is why I only have one pair and the rest of tried on and not bought). |
| I've also sized up in LL leggings. I have two pairs of Aligns that are a 6 (purchased when I was a size 4). I'm probably a size 6 now and can wear the 6 in Aligns, but have also tried an 8 and 10 and they both fit just fine. I just bought a pair of Wunder trains in a size 8, but also could have worn the 10 very easily too. I had always thought the general rule with leggings was to go up at least one size from your street size. The tops seem to fit more TTS, but I only have a jacket (a size 6) so can't speak to most of the tops. |
