| I’ve looked into it. It’s not cheaper than regular class but maybe a bit more expensive than first class. |
|
Those prices are 1-way, it is in no way cheaper unless you are comparing first class tickets and bringing enough people to fill the plane.
It is a lot more convenient |
UMC don't fly private, rich do. And UMC here ARE multi-millionaires, go read other threads on this forum. Those in upper rung of UMC may occasionally fly business class for longer haul flights. Nobody who isn't rich or is doing this for some extreme special occasion, or is so stupid as to vastly overpay to show off would be chartering a plane for a 3 hour flight.
|
why not fly first class? It's cheaper and easier to book and no hassle. And why bother with first class for a short flight unless you are so loaded that diff in price is a drop in the bucket? I would understand if this was long haul travel. |
| My husband keeps suggesting this so we can take our dog! |
Multimillionaires are rich. |
You realize how wealthy you are. Real UMC cannot afford this, just fake DCUM UMC. |
|
I priced this out and it definitely didn’t make economic sense.
They are probably much richer than you think. |
| This feels like something DH would say. He didn't grow up with a lot of money and is very uncomfortable with people getting an idea about how much money we have. When things do come to light that may give a hint (stuff comes out even though DH and I dont advertise it) he always comes up with some sort of way to say it wasnt as much money as people think. We recently flew Emirates first class and paid for the family we were traveling with to do the same. Well they posted on SM basically thanking DH and I. So people asked DH about it and his answer was "oh well we got a deal" or something along those lines. So yeah, I could 100% see DH saying that splitting a private plane was more economically feasible as a way to make people think it wasnt as expensive as they thought. |
$7MM is UMC around here... for full networth of a couple including retirement. No way is that considered "rich"... |
| I have a few friends who are commercial pilots and flight instructors and they say they don’t trust the people flying these private planes and helicopters. |
Why? |
By whom? |
If you were to invest $7M, and draw 2%, that would give you at least $140,000 income for at least 50 years. |
|
Millionaires are not the UMC, they are the UC.
People here are so out of touch it is ridiculous. |
