Bowser just gave a truly baffling news conference about this in which she confirmed Falcicchio is being investigated in some way but won't go into detail (and she says the results of the investigation will not be made public, for some reason):

| lol that the circumstances of his departure are what led to an investigation. she knew something was up long before he suddenly left. |
|
Sexual harassment, it is:

| I'm sure we'll know the name of the accuser before too long, can anyone share it now? |
| Welp, he's straight. |

I was about to write "gross but unsurprising" that Bowser didn't even acknowledge that the investigation was into sexual harassment, but then I wondered what the privacy implications of that are. Maybe they had to wait for someone else (like the lawyers for the person who raised the sexual harassment claim) to bring it up, I don't know.
I mean, not defending Bowser at all but the sequence of events here is confusing and I wonder if people's hands were tied. When was a claim filed? When was Falcicchio made aware? When did Bowser find out? If they really don't make the results of this investigation public, I'll be livid. But not surprised! |
| I noticed this story buried in the Saturday Metro section. Glad Fox5 pushed it farther out into the open. |
Someone on Twitter said JF would tweet everyday and that he hadn't tweeted until 3/10 so perhaps that's when ish hit the fan. |
| It's strange that he resigned before there were any articles about this or before any civil or criminal cases were brought forward. Charges must have been serious for him to resign at the start of a DC govt investigation |
| everyone was caught of guard, even his own staff. no one knew until the press release. |
| Some of them must have had ideas or seen it happen |
| I think he will walk away from this |
