OP here. Thanks for all the replies. You’ve all been so helpful and have given me great advice. I think I’ll be hopping on the scale every morning; that makes sense for my situation.
To the previous poster, I’d love to be the type of person who lets the fit of their clothes or how they are feeling determine their thoughts about their own weight, but I have to drop a good 25 pounds and I need to see the numbers in front of me. Just a personal preference. For every scale reading that makes me happy, a poor one can set me off on an absolute tear of candy eating. I need the every day weigh-in perspective. Thanks again, all. |
Once a week. Most people, particularly women, have their weight fluctuate throughout the day and sometimes even depending on their cycle. So it’s normal to be lighter in the morning and heavier in the afternoon, even by 1-2 lb. So I’d do just once a week and focus on the trend over a few weeks.
