Do small feet automatically mean kid is going to be short?

Anonymous
A solid maybe. Shorter people tend to have smaller feet, but we all know kids can jump 30 percentage points overnight seemingly! One anecdote is my cousin who is a college student, 5’7 and wears a women’s size 7. Most
Women that tall are in a 9 at least. You never know!

Yes, he will be tiny forever. Does that change anything for you?

I think there is some correlation but there are definitely plenty of exceptions. My DH is 6’0” and wear ls a 9/9.5 shoe, for example, which seems on the small side for his height.

I don’t think so. I’m slightly taller than average for a woman at 5”6 and wear size 6 shoes. I’ve always had tiny feet. I wore size 5-5.5 shoes in high school-college and then grew to size 6 as an adult. My husband is average height but has really big feet.

.

He’s about 40th percentile for height. I think that was 4’ 6” at age 10.

then he might be 40% at 18.
