My 11 year old DS wears size 3. He says he has the smallest feet in the grade! Any chance this means he’s not destined to be tiny? |
I’ve been wondering this too for the opposite reason. My petite daughter has a big shoe size, one of the biggest in her class even though she is one of the shortest kids. I kind of think there isn’t a correlation with height. |
No. Just like big feet don’t mean someone will be tall.
He will still grow a lot. My sons feet grew 2 sizes in 5 months this year. |
I think in general short people have shorter feet and tall people have longer feet, but there are plenty of exceptions. I am 5’3” and wear a size 8 which I think is above average. My friend is 5’7” and wear a size 7.

How tall is he? |
My DH has very large feet but is only 5’9”, so I don’t think it necessarily means anything. |
My 12 year old and her 12 year old friend are the same height but one is a size 5 and one is a 9. |
I don't think foot size correlates to height. Wrong correlation. |
He will likely not be on the tall side and that is totally fine. |
I am 5'1" and 110 lbs and I wear a size 7.5 |
? I think there is a general statistical correlation here. But the OP I think is asking whether small show is a predictor of future height vs. whether it's correlated to height more generally. At least that' show I understood the question. |
Almost 6 feet and 7 1/2.

How do you not blow over?! ![]() |
8 is exactly average |
. He’s about 40th percentile for height. I think that was 4’ 6” at age 10. |
