I disagree with the French theme. It's very Duggar-ish, but with a country instead of a letter. |
| I like the name Camille, but is it pronounced ca-MIL or ca-MEEL? |
In French it’s pronounced ca-MEE. So in English, usually ca-MEEL (so same pronunciation but without dropping the final consonant as the French do). Never heard it or ounces with a short i sound. |

My French name was Camille in high school French class. To this day, when I see the name, I hear my teacher saying it with the emphasis on the first syllable, in her weird voice. Bonjour KA-meel!
But I do like the name. I also love Sabine. |

Unless the plan is to use French names, choosing a less French name makes a more interesting set. Using another two syllable French leaning name like Margot or Marie is just the easy answer, but also feels like the same name as Camille. Go with something a little further out of the box that is still harmonious. |
| Op here, you all are great! Lots of new names that we hadn’t considered to think through. I think they will help us feel better - rather than using names that weren’t used off of the original list. Also love the idea of living with a name for a few days, husband has decided to practice yelling the name across the house for good measure. |
